Jonathan C. Patrowicz, D.O.

Dr. Patrowicz earned his undergraduate degree in biology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, then completed his medical degree and residency at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he served as assistant chief resident.

He came to Salisbury in July of 2001 and joined the Primary Care Medicine Division at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Three years later, in July of 2004, he opened his own practice — the one he still runs today, with the same nurse practitioner who has been with him since the beginning.

In the community

Over more than two decades on the Eastern Shore, Dr. Patrowicz has served as a team physician for Salisbury University's Athletic Department, a physician at the PRMC Wound Care Center, and a preceptor for medical students and nurse practitioners from a range of academic programs.

He was medical director for the Peninsula Regional Clinically Integrated Network from 2016 through 2019. He sits on the executive board of Salisbury Health Group, I.P.A. as vice president, and has chaired its credentialing committee since March of 2005. He remains an active staff member in the Department of Medicine at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Away from the office

Dr. Patrowicz lives in Berlin, Maryland with his wife, Rebecca, and their daughter. He spends his time outside the practice with family and friends, on the golf course, at Assateague Island, and reading.
